Looks like Nate D. Sanders auctions has become a bit of a dumping ground for flippers.  Ending in three hours:

Ended July 4, 2017:

Then there's this, but I don't keep meticulous enough records to find the corresponding eBay auction from a month or two ago:

Still trying to figure out, based on the credits listed, where Michael Golden fits into the mix on that piece.

If I'm looking to spend upwards of high five-figures on Jack Kirby art, I'll listen to Glen Gold before trusting GCD.

That's just me. Although judging from what I've seen here over the years, I would say there are definitely those who should refrain from buying anything Kirby (or "Kirby") until they educate themselves better.

I'll have to force myself to keep this mind if I'm feeling impulsive. I'm a fairly new collector, but was recently fortunate enough to get a small Moebius published piece. Kirby is next on my list.

no worries, we'll sell it on eBay at $15k (and sorry but at this price, we can't offer the $60 shipping costs)

Marvel Tales #37 sells on Thursday night for $12,500 (auction fees included). By Saturday morning it's on ebay for $20,000.

Isn't the eBay seller also Nate Sanders?  So -- even though they're claiming someone bought it, it didn't actuallysell, unless I'm not reading that correctly.

I think with this example -start to finish, and right on the heels of the Herriman foolishness, same House- our hobby has officially jumped the shark. If I didn't love my collection so much, I'd dump it all right now, spread across all the (reputable) Houses and calendar for the next twelve months. Seriously. 12,500 (unsold, reserve not met, bought in, chandelier bid, who knows?!) becomes 20,000/bo. Please. I hope they die with it over three lifetimes.

If someone buys something and later consigns it to auction, I think it's ok. It's not like he's asking double. Perhaps there is a good reason for the sale. I think the gist of this thread it to highlight the dooshy moves. This ain't one. Correct me if I'm wrong
