chips and tears

hi guys, i just got a nice silver age comic one i was looking forward to getting cgc it was supposed to be vf/nm and got it today and it has some tears which is thorugh multiple pages and a couple chips in the comic could someone tell me how it would effect the grade at all please?

Nice white pages! The page tears look printing/bindery related, and probably won't effect the grade, as they are minor. The back cover chip may be as well, but hard to tell. It's small enough that if the rest of the book is NM or better, it should easily qualify as a VF/NM. I'd have to see the rest of the book to be certain, but if those are the only things keeping the book out of NM, I would be happy with this as a VF/NM purchase, especially with the page quality.

Is that back cover chip just on the cover or does it affect interior pages as well?

the back chip is just on that page, but there are a couple chips inside like the first picture
