I remember in the late 80's that titles like Atom and Aquaman were so dirt cheap I added them to my want lists on general principles.  I didn't really collect DC at that time.

This guy used to host a big collectors show up in Portland in the early 90's.  It was all the pop culture garage sale kind of stuff you now can find on ebay which is I think what happened to the shows :frown:

Being a Brit, had you ever heard of this paper before ?  I believe it was the central gathering place for all comic collecting news and deals  right up until the internet took over.
