Got lucky today and got to make it to a flea market. Been a while. Great to just get out and catch up with some buddies.

This was a cool booth. Guy had a ton of coin op small machines. Mostly stamp machines and coin op trade stimulators (slot machines).

He had quite a crowd. I know not to bother trying to get a score from a pro like him. Nothing cheap here. My second time through he had sold quite a few.

Comics? Nope or at least nothing other than a few people with moderns.

A seller I knew had a large pile of UGs held back but he wanted too much and nothing special.

As I walked up to this booth, a guy was leaving with a large pile. He told the seller that comics are sure “popular” these days. There was already a second guy waiting to look so I just took a walk.

I got that “buzz” when I walked up to this. Figured the guy wouldn’t know what it was. I was right, he wanted $250. For it...

Probably my fault. A couple years ago, I bought a large pile of good SA from this guy. He quoted me a price and I paid him. I think somebody tipped him off he blew it. Ever since he has been a little stiff on his prices.

I would have loved to score this little piece of EC history.

This is really cool. I’ve never actually seen a first edition of one of these before. Any idea if there are still a lot of these floating around?

Boy the odds of seeing that at a flea market are pretty rare. Too bad you couldn't score a deal on that! I'm jonesing for a trip to PCC even if it's just to walk around and look at stuff with no real intention to buy anything. No word on them opening though.

1963 edition, right Bob?  $250 is a bit steep, but really ugly copies bring $100-$150.

I didn’t look at the date Gary. @Moondogbut pretty sure it is a first print. I figured $100 tops but didn’t even need it that bad. Besides, I don’t like the guy much so I passed.

Seems like forever since I went to a comic show. (Jan 2019). Well cases are a lot better here. Had both my shots and I just needed to go...

My first stop was this guy. He always has cool books at a great price. Pretty wall books priced aggressively, but I love his boxes. Scored two great books here.

Glad to see this old guy still with us. No comics but lots of “other stuff”. Never saw anyone at his table. Real sad. Had to buy this 1920’s vaudeville pinback from the Apollo Threatre for $5.!!!

Why people don’t even look at these is beyond me...(shrug)
