Gotta love how they started to throw in the wires, bolts and gears into those gruesome mag covers. I guess they were expecting bad feedback from parents that might have cut their sales? (shrug)

Yeah, seems to be a clever trick to keep the level of shock and gruesome-ness but covering their bases in that they are "mechanical" or "robots".  Very Sly.
