n2wdw
Tour of the Nook Facing you as you walk into the nook (Shelf 8 in the map) are my raw Matt Baker comics (upper shelf) and raw Fiction house comics (lower shelf). Also displayed are some of my favorite graded Baker comics. The graded comics can be removed, and behind them (in Shelf 9) are my Modesty Blaise and paperback collection. I'll talk about them in a future post. In Shelf 7, I store my Betty and Veronica collection, and my Schomburg comics and Frazetta comics. Here's a view of Toys (in the map) from the nook: Edited August 1, 2017 by n2wdw

A comic organization system, for instance. I had boxes that looked just like @Robot Man. But I sold them along with about 25,000 other comics to a local dealer last year. The boxes contained stuff you'd find in 50 cent boxes at cons. Before selling, I went through the boxes over and over again to make sure I had everything I wanted. In one of the last checks, I found this, which I later sent to CGC. Thank god I found it! n2wdw
And here's the major addition this week. @comicnoir posted it in the Dastardly GGA thread (https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/417435-dastardly-gga-bondage-covers/?page=4) and I knew I had to get me a copy. The story that goes along with the cover is pretty gruesome (although so far I've only had a chance to skim it). comicnoir
n2wdw
Stuff On Shelves 1A and 1B As shown in the map, Shelves 1A and 1B are next to each other. In addition to displaying things, Shelf 1B acts as a wall for the upstairs. Here's a view of the side of Shelves 1A and 1B. This picture is taken on the ladder going up to Upstairs. Here are some pictures of Shelf 1A. It shows what you see if you're sitting at Desk 1. I display my vintage Star Wars playsets on these shelves, along with a variety of comics, statues, cards and other stuff. I store most of my statue collection in Shelf 1B. Here's what you see if you're looking at Shelf 1B from Desk 2. Thanks for reading.

Sqeggs
Thanks again for showing these photos. You've got the comic room to die for. It does look, though, that, at least in certain sections, you might be pushing up against your storage capacity. Ever have a problem finding room for new stuff? It does look, though, that, at least in certain sections, you might be pushing up against your storage capacity. Ever have a problem finding room for new stuff? You're right, I'm space limited. To deal with that, I've had to make choices about what to collect. For example, I've pretty much stopped collecting Star Wars and Star Trek action figures. For Star Trek, I'm limiting my collection to just the Playmates figures, and not all of them. I've capped my Star Wars collection in a similar manner -- I've essentially picked an arbitrary point and not collecting anything after that point. The same is true for DC Direct, Marvel Legends, etc. As for comics, I'm not buying anything new (with a few exceptions, like Terry Moore and Optic Nerve). I am buying old stuff though. Some of my projects are: Completing Tomb of Dracula (just need 1, 3, 7 and 33) Completing Strange Tales - all the issues after Dr. Strange's 1st appearance (need 9 more issues) Completing Tales of Suspense - all the issues after Iron Man's 1st appearance (need 18 more) Getting all the early appearances of the Teen Titans But this doesn't take more space, as there's room in the existing long boxes. I'm also focused right now on GGA and keys, but I have a lot of room on shelves for both CGC books and raw. A storage issue I have in the future is what to do with my miscellaneous comic alphabet (12 long boxes), magazines (8 mag boxes) and CGC boxes (about 12 of them). I think I can fit the CGC boxes in closets of our beach house. The other stuff will probably have to go in a storage unit somewhere. Robot Man
If you are considering a storage unit possibly you should first consider purging some of your collection. Especially, if you don look at it much. You will probably find that you don't really miss the stuff anyway. I've got a LOT of stuff I could get rid of and have no remourse at all.
