Good/VG with moderate general wear, creasing, some light stains. Cover still attached, centerfold loose at to staple but still attached at bottom staple. Good- condition with heavy wear, cover has tears/chips at spine but still managing to hold onto staples, some small tears including 1/8" tear through most of book at right edge. First up, Planet Stories Fall 1942 (vol 1 #12). Good+. Nice GGA cover on this early Fiction House precursor to Planet Comics, some light chipping on cover edges, damp stain on lower right corner. That's right, its the painting on which the Rangers #26 cover was based! This was out a year or so earlier than the comic. Never seen this one before nor heard of anyone mention the connection to to Rangers #26 (maybe i just missed it?). Also has a story by cult-fave David Goodis. Average VG+, both nice and clean with great Dust Jackets (jackets are in protective sleeves), "Smilin' Jack" has previous owner's name inside.
