Thanks for posting this thread Black Adam I was not aware of Mr Aparo, of course I came across some of his covers but it's always nice to put a name to the appreciation of his artwork.

As a kid growing up in the seventies Aparo was 'the Batman artist' (I was a big Brave and the Bold fan) but I think some of his best cover works were on the less popular stuff like the aforementioned Spectre Run in Adventure Comics and Phantom Stranger.

This is the cover I think of when I think of sweet Aparo covers. Awesome cover.
