Remember when comic book conventions were all about comic books?  It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago.  Now, from the biggest to the smallest of these conventions, the second you put the words “Comic” and “Convention” together, comic books become one of the hardest things to find when you get in the door!  

Maybe you really love comic books though, and you wish you had a convention all to yourself, that was all about comic books!  Long Island Comic Book Expo is the answer you’ve been looking for!  They cater to the comic book purist.

Admission: $5.00 for adults.  Kids 10 and enter get in free (with an adult!)

When – Sunday August 20th, 10AM – 6PM
Where – 173 Sunrise Highway Rockville Centre NY, 11570

How do you get tickets?

Was this the same location as the Rockville Centre shows back in the go-go 90's??

Yes, same location in Rockville Centre in the late 80s/90s.

It's a Best Western hotel now, but had many different hotel chain name changes over the years.

Same location that legends like Jay from Sparkle City, Vinny Z. from Metro, Steve Borock, etc. roamed and peddled their wares!

If those walls could talk........!!

I would have gone to this.  Wish I would have seen this... especially at $5.  I have a lot of fond memories of those RVC shows of the 90's.
