I'm starting to focus more on my pre 100 Action Comics run. I don't like buying raw books online as much as in person so hopefully there are a few I can find at the show.

I don't think that should be should issue. What I would do is look over sites like Metro and WorldWide, who tend to have a good assortment of raw books, and ask them to bring specific issues to the show that you're interested in

Ive NEVER been to a Wizard world show but i love Chicago and im thinking of going for 1 day.

what should I expect??? Are there a lot of dealers like at C2E2? How about artist alley?

There will be plenty of dealers, if you’re looking for books it’s well worth a trip. I haven’t checked the guest list (mostly because I’m missing this year ) but it’s usually pretty solid. No more onsite grading for the foreseeable future, but CGC will be there witnessing and accepting subs.

I was on the fence about going this year or not, but they just added Rob Liefeld to the lineup so now I gotta take my New Mutants 87 & 98 to get signed.

Prepare to pay fairly hefty signing fees, probably close to $175-200 for the pair. I think he has those amounts listed on his website.

Holy moly....are you serious! I will not pay that for anybody. I was going to buy the $200 VIP package because you get some variants signed but it doesn't say anything about having personal items signed, so I'm not sure what that means. I'll have to look in to this a bit more before I drop that kind of money.

Yep, like @TheWatcher says, he upcharges pretty heavily to sign those keys. I’d do a little research before you drop $200 on the VIP and then find out you have to pay an upcharge.

Found this on Liefeld’s page:

Wish one of those faces was going to be mine...    Missing this show is a bit like missing Christmas.

No kidding. You've been grandfathered in at this point lol You're almost obligated to attend

I'm looking for pizza and a decent lager.. I'm more looking for the $$ (2 dollar signs) range.. what can I say I'm from Iowa (Cheap)

I don’t know if “cheap” & Chicago go in the same sentence. You better load up on some of that good ole’ Hawkeye Vodka and bring it with. :insane:
