Yeah - It took a few years for the first 9.8 copy of Wolverine # 35 show up.

I checked my original owner newsstand copy -- same production flaw would knock it out of 9.8.

I do, however, have a pristine 9.8 copy in Italian.

A 9.8 copy made you king of the hill for even a brief period of time. And for some, owning the first 9.8 that comes to market is a big deal. But hey, collect what you love and love what you collect. And if you can make a wad of green along the way, even better!

I won a copy of a high demand but low grade book a few years back, in a raffle. Sold it recently for more than 20 x what it cost me. It was plain dumb luck.  I will never ever be able to repeat that.
