New Teen Titans #4 Fraudulent art being sold on ebay

Hi,

I wanted to alert everyone to an original art auction which is going on on ebay right now, where the artwork is a copy. The bidding is getting pretty high even though its a copy

Last week I sold a George Perez teen titans original art page, over the weekend a dealer reposted my auction exactly, using my uploaded photo and the same body copy word for word.

The original page I sold, has since arrived at the location of my bidder. Yet, this other dealer has the same page up for auction, even though he doesnt have the original.

here is the link for my auction last week with the original art page, http://www.ebay.com/itm/282630295142?ul_noapp=true

here is the link for the current auction where he is auctioning off a copy but telling everyone its legit http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Teen-Titans-issue-4-page-18-Original-George-Perez-Art-Robin-Batman-JLA/302447127683?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649.

(you will see the photo and text are identical to mine)

Ive alerted ebay three times but the auction is still going on. So it was suggested to me to post to get the word out on this.

So, please tell as many people as possible, thanks

Yes, I was one of the fools who bid in this item before I realize it was an scam

There is a link in the middle of this page that say "Report Item"

Do yourself and the community a favor and report this fraudulent seller...

doh!

This stuff is starting to scare me away from eBay.

Yeah, I agree, but if you've been on eBay long enough, there are sellers who've established a reputation making it safe to buy from. I think collectors are quick to identify shenanigans like this. What scares me now is having my auctions ripped off :/
