Not sure which Australian stickers you’re referring to, but I’d love to see a pic if you find one!

I believe there was a Scanlens version of this set but I don’t know anything about it.

I'm based in Australia, but I distinctly remember another set. I saw Hawkeye and Iron Man - the images were much sharper with richer colours and a white background. There were also no captions. I'd be interested in owning that set.

Maybe these?

The listing states 1979, by Wimpy Burgers UK.

Very similar to art art from the Topps set:

This thread rekindled my memories of these cards :cloud9: so while at the Con in San Diego I had to splurge and make a purchase. Now comes the battle to keep it sealed.....I already won one battle by not giving in and buying multiple packs lol

Nice! You should have bought two packs: one to keep and one to open.

My daughter has a bunch of stickers on her laptop. She works at a coffee shop, and is encouraged to have her computer with her while working, surrounded by hipsters.

I couldn’t put a Sgt. Fury sticker on that machine fast enough! She loves it, and gets tons of comments.

I found a sealed box of 1976 series at the National Sports Convention yesterday.  I couldn't resist. image.thumb.jpg.275dbd9115b10651e54a685a57cb9fa2.jpgimage.thumb.jpg.d6c838a14605883d58c3d58412817f35.jpg

Very nice!

That box was sealed by Baseball Card Exchange, which does a lot to protect it, and is probably why it’s remained so nice after over 40 years on earth.

I don’t believe the boxes originally came sealed in shrink wrap.

Not to pry into your business, but what does something like that go for?

late reply.  I will say it was not cheap!  There's an auction for something exactly like this (not mine).  I'm interested to see how much it goes to.

I saw a lot of sealed boxes of cards shrink wrapped in BBCE logo at the Sports Show.  I thought it was the distributor of cards from back in the day, but it's the way of sealing & authenticating.

Whoa that’s awesome. Can you show some pics? Especially of the uncut sheets.

Whats the deal with the acetate stickers? I’ve seen them around but do you know why they exist?

Do you have any shippers (outer boxes)?

So there’s a one asterisk and two asterisk “Which way to the John”?

Here I am again....

As you may have noticed in my first reply, I am looking for some very rare variations:

1974 Test Issue #1 Checklist 9-card SET released for the 1975 22-sticker test issue #1 tan back without character names SET

1975/1975 44-sticker tan back Test Issue #2 SET

1975/1975 Checklist 9-card SET released for the 1975/1975 44-sticker tan back Test Issue #2 SET

I have posted some pics that show these variations below...

I took the following pictures from this very interesting site:

Excited to receive this today!

Uncut sheet of checklist cards from the 1975 Topps set:

Wormboy...

I was just looking at the checklist uncut sheet images again and I realized it might be the checklist cards for the second test issue with the Topps 1975 / Marvel 1975 copyrights! I think there is a test commodity code of “T-47-3” or maybe “T-47-4” on the right side of the checklist side of the sheet! Better images would really be helpful or if you can confirm the copyright info and the code info.

Thanks

Federico
