Anyone have a favourite Halloween story in comics? I turn to the late, great EC comics for mine.

For me this is Jack Kamen’s best drawn piece. He captured the tone perfectly. 

A chilly little 8 page treat....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One of the best shock endings in my opinion. So cruel....

Oh, "Carrion Death" by Feldstein (the cover story) is in that issue. My uncle gave me some of his ECs when I was a kid. Scared the out of me in the last panel!

Ray Bradbury said in his later years that when he had children, he would never write that story. It's one of the most disturbing stories ever published by EC. And yet I do read it every Halloween(along with Trick or Treat).
