Foo. Vol 1 # 1 Canadian parody magazine that pre-dates both Mad and Cracked magazine from Sept 1951 with a really cool Anti-Communist cover.

A bit of hunting suggests that this magazine, while printed on Canada, was exported to the US which might explain all of the letters to the editor having US addresses...

Yeah but keep in mind that this is a satire magazine and notice the author of the letter from Poughkeepsie, NY named OSCAR HACKWRITER

Yes, I knew that the letters were all fake but my point was that the addresses were/are all US addresses and not Canadian.

Hey just so everyone know's, Heritage auctions is selling 5 signed editions of the WECA comic price guide, they also have one of a kind sketches done inside the first sold last night, 2 more go up this month and 2 next month, great way to get a custom one of a kind guide and to help support knowledge about Canadian Whites

Sounds like there's an interesting story there.  hm ... ;)

BTW, the Nelvana Comics reprint also includes the equally rare full color MANNUP Collectibles ad.   :acclaim:

It's a sad story I won't repeated here.  Suffice it to say that the kickstarter Nelvana, Brok Windsor, and Jonny Canuck projects were great!  The Doc Stearne Mr. Monster project was funded in 2015 but due to tragic circumstances is still awaiting completion.
