My secret santa gift arrived yesterday! 

Even better news than it arriving yesterday?  That it didn't arrive TODAY!

This is an honest-to-God picture of the mail truck in my neighborhood, about a block from my house (and before delivery)....

And yes, surprisingly, we have NOT received any mail today.   Driver was fine... we saw him on his phone a safe distance from the truck.

No idea, but I'm assuming it did.  Our carrier was standing 50 feet away on his phone. With no sacks of mail around him.  And knowing him the little we do, I don't see him as the type to have been planning any "mail-saving heroics".  He doesn't really even like to bring packages to the door.

In fact, I only took that photo from the back of the truck... so this image from the front of the truck is PURELY speculative... but I think it's likely...
