June 13th 1998...so I have 6 months. They sent me a card holder once, maybe it was after 10 years? I didn't pay much attention to it. I don't exactly hand out eBay cards;)

I got nothing.  But I have plenty of messages from ebay that say "An eBay Gift Card of up to $50 could be yours when you play!"   I think that is what your friend is referring to.
