If you are going to sign up for the Disney+ service, do it now. It just rolled out a program for anyone signed up with a D23 account (including free accounts) where you get a massive discount.

Just realize when they announced this the system came crashing down.

I signed up yesterday before the flood, if you can get in, it breaks down to about $4.50 a month.  pretty good deal!

Also just signed up for D23 and got the 3-year plan, thanks for the tip!  Only 75 days to go...

Thanks for the D23 tip - I knew they had paid memberships but I never knew there was a free tier.

I was on the fence on D+ because they are releasing episodes slowly (rather than the full season at once ala Netflix).  Was going to wait for a block of shows to be fully released and binge and cancel, rinse and repeat.  But at this price it's probably worth just holding the subscription.

When you sign up for D23 free membership and then want to sign up for Disney+ it presents this page. Could take 36 hours for the subscription email to go out.

I still don't think I received the subscription email yet,  but I followed Step 2 and was able to sign up!

So in case the link doesn't show up in your D23 account, this is the email you are looking for that will be the alternate path to sign up.

Just signed up now. $140 + tax for three years was pretty cheap... :takeit:

Could this lead to X-Men TAS 1992-1997 one day ending up on bluray later?

Looks like Disney+ is running an international pilot, so feedback should come out sooner than expected.
