The King's Cadillac has been completely restored in a frame off restoration. Definitely a purple label high grade and not the same whip the King once drove.

That Detective 71 (worship)

I accidentally typed in $50k bid on it. Fortunately you get a chance to confirm after the initial bid placement !

Harley's copy.  He'll be disappointed if he doesn't get more than that for it.

People who are lucky enough to be invited to spend a night in the Lincoln Bedroom at the White House (foreign head's of state and big-time campaign contributors, mostly) often gush about the sense of history the feel from being in the same room used by Lincoln.  Unfortunately, during the Truman Administration structural problems meant that the whole interior of the White House was gutted, leaving only the facade.  So that room doesn't actually date from Lincoln's time. Perhaps they should make the decor purple so people realize what they're getting!
