Top & bottom edges split & bowed apart, is this normal? 0

If the case has unbroken corner posts but is split & bowed apart along the top & bottom side edges, is this a tell of case tampering, making the comic book grade unverified?

Is it an old label book? What your describing was normal on the old cases. You used to could put a piece of paper in that slit and it would fix rings...

So no it is not tampering if it is an old cgc case
