Detective Comics #32 Spine split 0

I recently purchased a Tec 32. The cover has about a 1 1/2 ' spine split but all the interior pages except the centerfold are completely split. Would this get a conserved label if repaired or would this be too much work and get a PLOD? Would you fix it or leave it as is? Who would you have do the work?  I've never had a book worked on so have zero idea what the cost would be either, may not be worth it. Thanks in advance for any insight.

If you slab, be prepared for a brittle pages designation and a probable 1.0 grade, though.
