No sure if there is much substance to the story.  Probably too early to tell. 

I'm worried is more about finding out who the characters are in comparison to the original rather than a new direction. 

Can definitely say there is more behind it than Metal.

Same here.  I'm gonna read Watchmen first and then probably read Doomsday Clock once the entire run is completed.

it's ight... doesn't have me excited at all.

I just all feels forced... It's probably because I hold Watchmen and Moore to such a high regard and thats why I won't give it a chance.

I think the story is okay but it going bi-monthly may kill it for me.

I really liked the first issue, but the subsequent issues have seemed to move slowly, even considering that they are clearly going for a big dramatic build-up. Just picked up #4 this week, I hope we get a little more movement in the plot.

I get that these comics take a ton of time to draw, especially given how nice the art is, but it always blows my mind that big, planned series like this don't kick off with more completed material in the can.

I was hoping that after a going bimonthly that the book would pick up where issue #3 left of since it was getting pretty good.   Looks like it'll be another 2 months to see if

Me too. The backstory was great. It's a slow burn waiting for monthly / bi-monthly releases but man I love every issue so far.

Say what you will about the delays and the story, it's worth it for Gary Frank's sequential art alone. I think he's doing the best work of his career on this book.
