I would call your Love Diary 99. A "Charlton NM 9.6" These things came off the presses in VG.

Here's what my copy looks like: 

Note the exceptional centering. As well as the fine machine trimming. Has that nice sewing scissor effect you find only on the best Charlton books.

You raise a really great point, Jack! Every time at look at these Charltons of mine, I think they look amazing. Then I look closely and realize they are technically mid-grade. But as Charltons go, they look astounding!
