^ Great books.  I'd love to pinpoint exactly when that classic image of a show with a hole worn into the bottom just disappeared from popular culture.  I don't think my kids would even recognize it, and it used to be such a cliche.

I think these two will be it for this auction. I wanted to upgrade my current 9.4s of both from OW-W to W. The ASM 129 was an okay price, but I need to re-holder it. I know I overpayed for the GSX 1, but I liked the centering.

As an aside, I am over the moon about that Strange Tales #135. I've wanted another copy for a while so getting a nice looking pedigree copy makes me happy.

Slimmer pickings for me than a typical ComicLink auction ... this book was the highlight, and I'm really glad to have gotten it for a reasonable price.

I just need to upgrade my 8.0 copy of #16 and I will have the full 18-issue run in 9.4 or better.

The only encapsulated comics I still collect are the picture frame Marvels from back when I first starting buying and saving comics as a regular reader and collector.  This 1972 reprint book with new cover art (I believe by Sal Buscema) is remarkably hard to find in decent shape (1 of 4 in near mint or better):
