Looking for grading opinions on my holy grail

slight discloration in bottom right corner of cover from improper storage. A few small spine cracks, a couple slightly blunted corners and a small dent on cover and back that i’m sure could be pressed out.

Curious to know your opinions

Thanks in advance!

a 7.0 has minor creases and relatively flat and clean....with some corner blunting...with no obvious staining...or other discoloration.....so i think this drops below that even though the colors are really good. A 6.0  can have moderate creasing which i would believe that corner is. That crease appears to go deep into the book. The front looks really good and the back 2. I'm gonna say 6.5 but where is James Johnson when u need him.....I'm a newbie and i'd ask him.

You don't need me on this one, Ahsoka, I couldn't have stated it any more eloquently or assessed it more accurately.

The staples also appear to be rusted through...see the back cover and the last pic of the centerfold. Front cover has amazing eye appeal for the grade range, but I'd think technical grade of 5.0, maybe 5.5. Still, nice one!

Yes they do appear to be, but for lack of a better image to tell for sure, I'm going only by the owner's assessment that they aren't rusted.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Here are some better photos of the book, I rushed the earlier pics. Perhaps one of you could clarify if these are rusty staples or not

No. No rust at all. The close up reveals the absence of rust. Just a normal, mild coat of surface oxidation coating the outside, giving that grey appearance, but the paper is clean and the rusting process is absent.

Good to know, thanks again! My naive opinion tells me this book is higher than a 5.0 or 6.5 as others kindly suggested. Especially after a press and clean? Thoughts anyone?

Whoops, looks like I was 100% wrong. Sorry about that! I thought there was some rust transfer in the original centerfold photo, but it must be the staples casting funky shadows there or something. My bad.

Beautiful book; only real issue would be the structural bottom corner dent. I'll say 6.5/7.0 range as is but could certainly press a bit higher.

No worries, that's why we're here. All feedback is appreciated. I didn't post the best pics at first. I just contacted a local comic presser/cleaner. Should clean that corner up nicely! I'll keep you posted!
