IDW has the rights and has released all of Stevens’ output in various formats, they did (I think) 4 new miniseries and 2 different 4 issue anthology series as well. That’s not bad for the last 6 or 7 years, but nothing has been done in the last two years. It’s clearly a beloved character and such a wonderful visual, I find it odd that they never decided to tackle an ongoing series. For me and my money the miniseries and anthology are a bit too scattershot for my taste. The varying degrees of writing and art is all over the map. Why not some stability and consistency? Surely, these experiments by IDW have proved they can court enough big talent to give this a go. Has IDW ever discussed this or mentioned at all?
