Hey guys.  Looking to buy an FF48 and a seller was kinda enough to take a ton of pictures for me.  His grade seemed a little high and mine probably a little low so I thought I would see what you think.  Told him I was doing this and he was cool with the idea.  5a7b88cda818c_ff4817.jpg.fac85ed2fda89c40c6673dcea24839c7.jpg5a7b88ccec435_ff4816.jpg.2338412a58c64f7e22e9294d1eab7bd1.jpg5a7b88cc2972b_ff4815.jpg.5d4b9247fc1ceeaa6e28b858d9fce561.jpg5a7b88cb77cc1_ff4814.jpg.90fea990907ca2fd4ff507a334f5fdab.jpgff4813.jpg.23cd5fbd026ea95353ba3af43b55c648.jpgff4812.jpg.79dafe9947c064377280c613665e2434.jpg5a7b88c96364b_ff4812.jpg.2618c40b08b42afed5901862a0e90f6d.jpg5a7b88c8ac47b_ff4811.jpg.8d5ed10121a810f4b2c88274b97c1e80.jpg5a7b88c7d7522_ff4810.jpg.080b848b755f6a0ffdb8cdd95ef1d679.jpg5a7b88c714cbf_ff489.jpg.bac5dcd11e6c3dae87d7aae1a403bcd6.jpg5a7b88c558405_ff488.jpg.829a5085c547fe9dc83f6acd4f97ef29.jpg5a7b88c4afee7_ff487.jpg.512547bd03c97a79913f938fcd9c6da7.jpg5a7b88c3ec84f_ff486.jpg.148d1c18213c4f4d04dc486a66c41f1a.jpg5a7b88c2f3b7b_ff485.jpg.03e5de3f658f80e6079e1af58642ec81.jpg5a7b88c0e293c_ff484.jpg.415429515a26487d1a7090224d4823eb.jpg5a7b88bf4196e_ff483.jpg.1df7900c0d1c7403763ff988c6933bf5.jpg5a7b88be88b1a_ff482.jpg.a3ff78094abbcdede011726503d8505a.jpg5a7b88bdb4cb2_FF481.jpg.8ca4dc12269d757b07129c7b2346afdf.jpg

2.5/3.0

This. With the lean towards 2.5. The double-print (more common) Silver age Marvels, Avengers 24, Amazing Spider-man 45, Fantastic Four 59, etc., etc., tend to get the down-skew on a split-decision, in the lower grades due to their high population.

It looks like the back half of the book is gnawed in that spot at the bottom of the back cover--is that the case?

2.0 to 2.5 seems about right, but that gnawed spot is an unappealing defect IMHO... something about damage to the interior pages always rubs me the wrong way. I'd either want the book to be priced way under the Good price, or I'd try to find a copy without that flaw. Just my opinion, of course. :)

Thanks all for the responses.  He thought it was 4.0-ish and was asking $300. I thought it was 3.0 at max and wanted a more educated opinion before I made an offer.  Even at fair prices for the grade I think I would pass and seek a better copy.  Shopping for a keeper (thumbsu
