Has the CGC's imaging service gotten any better over the years?

I remember purchasing this service years ago when I first started submitting books to the CGC. I was disappointed to find:

1. I had to bug them both times to actually send me the file.

2. I only got a front scan

3. The image was only 96 DPI and 502x750 pixels. The images looked fantastic, but were pretty much useless due to the low resolution.

I forgot what they charged, but it was a ridiculous amount for a worthless file.

I wonder, have things gotten any better on this front?
