I'd love to see the grader's notes on this one.  That's the best looking 3.0 I've ever seen.

among other things the photo is taken in shadow with backlight. i agree it looks great but a real scan with proper lighting would likely reveal a heck of a lot that this photo does not.

I felt the same way when I had it graded, was hoping for at least a VG. I believe the back cover crease dragged it way down, I think CGC was overly harsh on creases back then.

Yeah that's the only major defect I can see based on your pix.  I would've placed it at around a VG+.  I guess times have changed and CGC is now stricter with their grading in terms of long creases like that.
