Image result for strange tales 113 cgc

I did a double look at that cover.  Made me think of an ACDC song.  When I see a cover like that I believe that the artist sitting in the Marvel bullpen were laying bets down on what would and wouldn't get published before they turned them in.xD

he dies from high wire fall at the end  :sorry:

That's why they call it a tripwire. If you watched the movie you could see that the clown was heading for a fall. The part of the clown was played by Lon Chaney SR the man of a thousand faces in fact there is a quote from him on clowns, clowns are funny until one turns up at your door at midnight! I wonder did Stephen King use that quote for IT after all he had a letter published in Famous monsters magazine when he was 13 years old, he also claimed that Salem's lot was inspired by the Dracula novel written by Bram Stoker. tim-curry-it.thumb.jpg.926784bd9a2fb1f3722fd4a9a089b50e.jpgdownload.jpg.fc143c590b93a5e5f98e743897130df7.jpg
