i thought the Wolfman glass looked like a nice collectible ,, so i looked them up and the whole set is pretty cool ...

info says they are circa 1963 and were given away as a gas station promotional

The gas station giveaway is the story, but I've never seen any documentation on it, or heard from anybody who remembers seeing them at a gas station.
