 So you got a nice piece of art. Its framed.  You dont want to sell the art cause its cool. But that frame - it touched the art. Value has rubbed off onto the frame.  The more famous the art - the more valuable the frame.

Seems like a good deal, when the photo of the frame is 25k.

 

you can at least for 10k, get a print of the art ($50) and re-create the photo, and still have money left over for a vacation.
