I believe last year he posted the score even for the Bye people so you can see how well you did (and everyone else can also).  Of course no risk of losing.

The secret is to purposely do bad if you have a bye, thus giving your next opponent a false sense of security. :ph34r:

On the back cover of the Watchmen book, you'll see some squiggly lines.   Those are from the inside of the scanner glass; ignore them.   If you look closely you'll see them on the most scans, usually in the top right of the book, especially in the darker areas.

It's when you don't have to play against someone that round.  You get an automatic pass into the next round. The question I have is how do we know if we got a buy this time? I'm getting my grades ready just in case.

According to sckao's rankings in the other thread (seen in spoilers below), there are 24 spaces at the end without players. Since people are matched up highest ranked versus lowest ranked, I believe that the top 24 players in the ranking will have a bye for the next round.

I'm pretty sure that's how it works. I believe, however, that sckao is still working on the exact final rankings, so don't just assume you have a bye. As stated earlier, grades submitted by anyone who does have a bye will not affect their advancement.

I'll apologize now if I'm wrong about all this.
