I second your comment regarding the grade, the book is extremely nice. In my humble opinion the front cover looks 9.2 or 9.0 at a minimum.

That might be the case but based on this wording I didn’t get that impression.   

I know grading is subjective so maybe it was a “VF looking” book

Yeah, I've seen many Metro listings with the "insert grade" look but has X problem .... description.

Might be psychological advertising to make the brain feel the buyer is getting a good deal.
