I cannot get text fields either to post or answer PMs. And I cannot post without adding an image. Again, not getting text field. Systemwide? Or did I accidentally change a setting? Any guidance?

step one--- make sure you don't have something simple like a stuck key on your keyboard--- the control or shift key can really mess you up.

press all the keys to loosen a stuck key. sounds dumb but it happens

also-- have you tried rebooting your machine?

Do you also work for Dell support?

Update!

Thanks all -- I could not reply, obviously -- I am now trying my laptop since I got it back from the kids, and  no problem. All my issues were (might still be? -- I will check again) with my iPad. I have tried the basic stuff on there; clearing, rebooting, log out and in again, but none of that helped. (shrug)

And anybody who did not know about potential headline length -- you're welcome, but you have obviously never shopped the sales  boards if that was news to you! :kidaround:

Arch,

I am now replying from the iPad as well. I had previously cleared the browser from the Safari program to no avail; I then cleared from Settings and this worked for the iPad. Thx!

I did capture screenshots of what the problem looked like; will post as FYI in case others encounter when also using iCrap.

PM attempt and thread reply attempt, respectively:
