·       I am happy to announce the inaugural LA Ultimate Comic Art & Collectibles Show on July 15, 2018 brought to you by Big Wow Art, the Prop Store of London, and Cherry Blossom Explosion.  It is the first official comic art convention in California!

·       This event is designed for serious collectors in Los Angeles as well as those travelling in to get a preview of the art that is being brought out to the West Coast for San Diego.  In addition, there will be additional dealers who will not be set up in San Diego showcasing their art and collectibles.  We truly believe that this be “the” yearly event that serious collectors from all over will want to attend.     

·       For people who want a great California vacation, you can explore places like Santa Monica, Malibu, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills, all within 30 minutes to an hour away.  For those that are coming in for San Diego the following week, it’s easy enough to fly into LA for this event and take the train or drive down to San Diego later in the week.  

What’s Different About This Show?

·       First, you won’t find dollar comic boxes, t-shirts, assorted doo-dads, or an array of cosplayers at this show.  This show is focused on higher-end collectibles for the “ultimate” collector.

·       Although this show has a focus on the comic art, you’ll find dealers there with other very cool related high-end collectibles like Illustration Art and authentic Film/TV props that you may want to consider adding to your collection.

·       We will be documenting the show digitally, recording professional videos of the art and collectibles on display at the show.  Ideally you’ll be at the show to see things live, but for those who can’t, we plan to release videos from the show later in the week for all to see.

Who Are the Special Guests?

·       Frank Cho and Gerhard will be our two special guest artists for the show.  Each will be taking commissions.  Gerhard will also be debuting some original vintage Cerebus pages from his personal collection for sale at the show for the first time.

·       Mark Schultz will also be appearing courtesy of Flesk Publications. 

·       Additional artists will be announced as they are confirmed. 

What Are the Logistics?

·       The event will take place at the LAX Hilton located at 5711 West Century Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA on Sunday July 15, 2018.  The event will be open to the public from 10AM until 5PM.

·       The Hilton is within 5 minutes of the LAX airport to make it easy for people to fly-in and out for the event.  The hotel has free shuttles to and from the airport.

·       In addition to the LA Ultimate Comic Art & Collectibles Show, your admission will also get you into the Torpedo Comics Collectors Convention (www.torpedocomics.com) with over 5,000 square feet of premium comic book dealers in the next convention hall over.  Your admission gets you into see both shows!

How Do I Reserve a Ticket and Hotel Room?

·       Attendance at the event will be limited to 1,000 people. 

·       Tickets are available online through the show’s website:  www.UltimateLAShow.com. 

·       We are offering an advance ticket price of $20 until June 15^th.  This admission price will get you into both the LA Ultimate Comic Art & Collectibles Show and the Torpedo Comics Collectors Convention next door.
