I have about 15 Superman books I'm going to list now. The thread will close tomorrow at 7pm. I'll list the Detectives and Batmans on a new thread Monday night around 7:30 pm. Just didn't have time to scan those yet.

Superman #84, 1953, First he has a serial stalker (a blonde;) then some Aliens put him in a cage as a pet...what a week;) There is wear, some dirt, a 1” cover spine split at the bottom, 2” at the top, 2 tears staples are attached everywhere and the inside paper is really supple, the cover is OK, but the paper from this era tends to get fragile, there lots of creases. Grade is Gd (2.0) maybe a little better $50

Superman #89, 1954 40 pages plus the cover. The good news, there is an early Luthor story. Great color, staples are attached everywhere. The bad news, there is a cup circle on the front, tehre are a few (3) pieces of tape on the book aver some tears (about 1”). . There is tanning and chipping on that last page. The rest of the book seems to be OK, with a few small areas where the book could chip. There is a 1” split at the top of the book and the pages are split there. Low grade book that looks nicer than the grade. Bin is $20  sold to Norrin's Lawyer

Superman #92, 1954. Another book with the strange page split. 12 pages before the staple, 8 after. Overall wear, the staples are attached everywhere, but there is some color loss near the spine and there is lots of staining on the back cover. There might be drop of glue on the front cover right edge, looks like there may have been a tear there, I'm not sure. I don't' think it would affect the grade. Grade is Good (2.0) Bin is $50

Superman #98, 1955. Nice color, really nice pages, a sub crease, some pencil in the logo and a name on the front, doodle on the back. Staples have a little rust on the outside, not at the centerfold. Light stain on the bottom of the spine on the back. Grade is VG (4.0) or better Bin is $110.00

Superman #103, 1956. If you are watching Krypton, you will be very interested in the first story. You will have to read it to find out why;) If you are a Mxyztplk fan, the 2nd story is for you;) . The color is nice, there are creases especially lower right, a long crease upper right. There is also a cover spine split less than 1” at the bottom , other than that, a nice solid copy. Grade is VG- (3.5) or maybe a drop better.

Two pices out of the front cover at the bottom.There is a 'V” out of the bottom right and a 1” tear follows it, that goes through most of the pages. There is an ad for Showcase #1. Grade is Fair (1.0) Bin is $19.00  sold to Norrin's Lawyer

Superman #105, 1956 Another Mxyztplk story:) There is a smallish faded strip at the top. Staples are good, there is light overall creasing, a tiny chip off the right edge. Grade is Gd/VG or perhaps slightly better. Bin is $55.00  sold to Norrin's Lawyer

Superman #108, 1956, Great gloss on this issue and some creasing. There is a part ring from a cup at the top, and another ring lower down and some marks at the bottom that look like the same mark as the ring. 1/4” cover spine split at the bottom. Small piece at the bottom of the back cover. I really don't know what to grade it, but I can't see it going lower than Gd/VG (3.0,) so I'll go with that. Prices seem to be all over the place. A Fair copy sold for $39 on eBay a month ago, and a Gd/ VG went for $78, a good/gd+ went for $59. I have no idea what I paid for this one, so let's go with $49.00

Superman #111, 1957, Cover is detached. There are some small horizontal tears near the spine in the back. And there are 4 pieces of tape covering those tears. Grade is Gd (2.0) FR/GD sold on eBay for $39.99, and a Gd sold for $47. a few weeks ago Bin is $37

Superman #113, 1957. Another issue that would work well with the new Krypton series. There is an almost 5” tear on the back cover., another 1” tear and a piece missing at the top of the spine. Small piece off the front upper right corner. 1: cover spine split, goes through 2 wraps. I don't see anything brittle. Grade is Fair/ Gd (1.5) Bin is $15.00
