I wish there were more high grade copies of issue 24 in the world.

This is my only copy, but it is the nicest that I have ever seen (that is glare by the top staple).

Some more goodies today. A beat up second printing of Love and Rockets #1, but a nice reader copy nonetheless.

I may have to get that Girl Crazy book. These are what books I have. [I do also have a full run of the original series, and at least a few of the comic book sequels but not in such high grades.] I was pleased that the full version of Maria M. got published at last - but disappointed its dimensions are so small.

My hope is that Gilbert continues to produce more issues of Blubber, and that we someday get a leatherbound collected edition with gilt edges all around, a tasteful ribbon marker, tons of behind the scenes extras, and a limitation plate that includes not only a number and signature, but a drop of his blood!  I'll happily shelve it next too my copy of his stellar Garden Of The Flesh and Birdland!

Unfortunately, there will be no SDCC this year. Here are two Mary Jane sketches from Jaime and Gilbert Hernandez from SDCC 2011.

Perhaps a Mary Jane and a Gwen Stacy.

I will be posting quite a few new CGC L&R 1st and 4th editions over the next few weeks. Once again, does anyone have gaps in their collection that they want filled? I have at least a hundred raw copies of the first printing that I am willing to trade or sell.
