Stan Lee signing at Silicon Valley

Way overthinking. You have no way of knowing for sure if those funds of signing items are helping keep his health by providing income to pay for his healthcare, his way of life and household bills (who knows for sure his financial situation) or even the other side of people possibly taking advantage of him. That may have been happening for years. It's not up to them to make those types of moral judgments unless it is 100% clear there is damage being done by providing business to them. I am sure Desert Wind would not provide business if they felt 100% it was hurting Stan.

What % is the right threshold to say "no"?

Clearly what happened at SVCC was a terrible thing to see, I've never seen videos or pictures or bizarre signatures like that from any Stan appearance prior to that so that begs the question, who would want to sponsor another Stan Con if such things are repeated and more importantly, what would they do if they saw the same disturbing things happening at their event? Would a sponsor or facilitator step in and stop it... ever?

The guy has more money than he will ever need.  Let him relax in his last years.  The video where the manager is constantly reminding him of his name and what to write was beyond sad.  Don't let DWC tell you for one second that they are doing it for the fans.

How do you know he just wasn't having a bad day? That maybe he is back to normal now. Maybe he just needs limitations put on numbers he signed. How far into the signing was this?

Did the person have permission to film him?

You don't know what is going on other than you have a snapshot of a moment in time.

Seriously?  The guy is 95, it doesn't matter what the specifics were.

So just because the guy is 95 he can't do anything?

Unless you have the full facts you should mind your own business and don't post on this matter. If based on the snapshot in time that you saw you are not going to get his autograph again that is fine and your choice and you can say that.

I just did tell you because you are stating your opinion without all the facts.

Right,  Stan should just shut up, remember his name, and push through.  That one snapshot in time could not possibly be a symptom of a bigger issue.  Not with a new manager and DWC on the case.  But hey you are in the "know" and first in line.
