I would never find this one in normal day but I was sorting duplicates image comic books in bag/board. I removed all comics to place mixed boxes. I saw Shadowhawk and decide to read it. On first page, there was a certified to 1000 that handout to people who attend sdcc 1992. However, certified did have 1000 cross out and add 14/25 AP. Comic book itself didn’t show any different from normal copies we will see out there. Only unique was certified being signed by artist and assigned it to be AP and limited to 25. I have been collecting for more than 25 years but never saw this one. Recalled site didn’t mentioned it either. Did anyone have this piece with certified limited to 25? Any history behind this certified paper?

Neat find. Is it signed on the inside? Anything else different about it?

I did pull regular copies of same comic book. Checked to see any different in typo, color, printing materials. Everything looks identical. No other signature in the book. I think only certification is an unique but not the comic book. Thank you for asking as deep inspecting may bring some answer, but so far, the comic book is same as other printing.

Pretty cool find - it would be fantastic if there was a single difference between the book and the regular edition, but it's likely these are just the first copies that Jim Valentino could carry with him to a convention... otherwise identical to the copies available everywhere else.  I wonder how many of the 1,025 copies he was able to sell that specific weekend. hm
