Whoever says "pubic hair" wins.

A pubic hair!

Roy used to include them in the scans of his sale books, but I think we gave him too hard of time over that - he doesn't do that anymore.

I had a death of Gwen Stacy Spider-Man (whichever one that is) that had blood stains in it.

I bought an issue of Shazam! that had a Welcome Back, Kotter interior. When I tried to take it back to the candy store, the owner told me to hit the road.

scary... did we ever figure out if Normie is Red or is it grandad?

I haven't heard.... seems the buzz of it on the boards hasn't been updated either, so idk...

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the p o r n that was in some of the boards Christmas raffles that one year.

Aquaman, Creature from the Black Lagoon cameo, ASIA poster and Ant-Man appearance:

Just some things in buying comic collections:

1) Multiple 1970s hardcore porn mags sifted in within some boxes.
2) A desiccated dead mouse in a box.
3) Nude photos of a large woman - assuming it was the guys girlfriend/wife/neighbor?
4) Five Krugerrands.
5) Multiple books that had gotten wet inside bags - penicillin!

Opened up a Giant Sized Superstars #1 and as I was thumbing through saw a stain that got bigger as I turned the pages. Got to the centerfold and there was what I believe was a slice of pepperoni.

Bought the personal collection of a guy that owned my local pizza shop in Queens. Bunch of late Bronze/early Copper but the box also contained two envelopes of scantily dressed young men. I thought about returning the photos but decided it was best if I didn't.

I was at a show with Mark Zaid and his little brother when they both bought Cerebus #1s. When his brother opened his, there was a second copy inside. P.S.- they all turned out to be counterfeits.

I bought a collection that was in a Rubbermaid bin.  My hands were turning black just from handling the dirty books.  Once I got to the bottom of the bin there was a variety of gross miscellaneous junk.  The 2 items that stick out the most were one of those funeral memorial cards with the picture of the deceased and a big toe nail.  Not a clipping but the entire nail with pieces of skin still on it.  That was the worst.

When I was a kid, I had a couple of small (like, thin, digest sized) prono mags that I hid in bagged and boarded comics, as I knew there was no way Mom was ever going to open up a copy of Uncanny X-Men 132 and give it a read.

I was never discovered, although I have often wondered if I bothered to remove the porn before selling those books.

I totally still remember that! It was 1984-85. He still has them!

I once received a lot of Spideys from #120-130 that had cat pee staining the lower half of the books...salt crystals and all....that wasn't disclosed.

the crystals indicate the cat had urea crystals from bad diet and UTI infection.  cheap dry cat food can kill a cat.
