sfcityduck
I think $2M is a great price for a comic book that sold in 2010 for $1.5M. The seller got around 33% return after 8 years (minus fees to CC). Which is a really nice bonus beyond the joy of owning the book, even if it is not enough of a return to induce most investors to give up stocks. The seller paid less than the 9.0 sold for in 2011. So he's got to be happy that he scored a price which was less than it might cost to pry the 9.0 under copy from Hariri. Seems like everyone won. (Including, I note, Rob who predicted that $2M would be a "win" for the book.) comicjack

That was BS as it's not the best, just the best in a CGC holder, but still, that was how it was marketed. Hey Rob, Who just fell out of the Top 10 ?
