Golden age DC vs reprint - tells 0

Hi how does one tell (aside from aging cues) that a golden age DC key is genuine and not a reprint? What tells do you look for on the interior?

What books are you thinking of in particular?

The 1970s era reprints DC published are much  bigger than the originals.
