That’s how I stored mine for decades.   Put the extra with the run. Keep a run Separate.   Mind’s separated but close in thought 🤔

Background:

Although I didn't grow up in the 1970s when the GS books were hitting the stands, I had several well-read copies that I cherished above all of my other comics.  Why?  Because they were big!  I didn't care that some of the stories were reprints, I just liked reading a beefy thick comic book and my appreciation for the GS books continued into my adult years.  I've been slowly (very slowly) collecting every GS title over the years and it feels great to finally have them all (at least I think I do! ).  Over 95% of this collection was purchased "the old fashioned way", at garage sales, comics shops, and from generous CGC Boardies.  Sure, you could easily jump on eBay and assemble all 68 issues, but what fun is that?!  I intentionally avoided eBay for this run (can you call it a run?!)  Rough guess, but this run has taken me +10 years to complete.  Many of them are low grades, but I prefer it that way...I decided to seek all of these books out because I want my sons to be able to read them and enjoy them just like I did as a kid (and yes I have floppy versions of the graded books). Cheers and happy collecting!

Fun Facts:

- My first Giant Size book as a kid: GS Kid Colt #1

- My last purchase to complete the set: GS Man Thing #4

- My favorite GS book: GS Chillers #2

- Hardest GS book for me to find "organically": GS Kid Colt #3

- Most $ spent on a GS book: GS Spiderman #4  (I got my original copy of GSXM1 at a garage sale, had it graded, traded down years later for the 5.0 I currently have!)

- I've read every single one!

Yeah, as someone mentioned up thread your list and pic omits the Super-Heroes 1 title (with Spiderman vs Man Wolf and Morbius, really good Gil Kane story), although you almost certainly have it in your box.  Someone else included a pic of it mid-thread, but you might not have seen that, just an fyi as one completist to another (but don't get me wrong, I've only like 35 of the GSs).  Your batch is wonderful, congrats!  I think the Superheroes came out with Superstars but they renumbered Spiderman so he got 7 GS issues total.  How many are there, like 70 total?

Those Kid Colts are awesome.

I had forgotten all about this thread and I'm glad it's been brought back to life.  I was able to pick up this hard-to-find issue from a fellow boardie last week:

I also got some good news from CGC yesterday -- a copy of Giant-Size Marvel Triple Action #2 that I bought recently, graded 9.6 OW/W by the other guys, got an identical grade from CGC's crossover service.

That means I am down to just three books to complete the set in 9.4+:

• Chillers #2
• Dracula #2
• Marvel Triple Action #1

If anyone has a lead on any of these I'd be extremely grateful!

I've always found it strange that Master of Kung Fu got four Giant Sized Issues, with new stories in each, while Iron Man, Power Man and Daredevil got only one issue and it was all reprints.
