Bought $200 book on ebay.  Went to email to confirm and right below the email was one from ebay with 10% ebay bucks activation.

I do love these deals from ebay,  but it does make me hesitate to pay. I waiting right now for an auction I won just in case a coupon comes out

I always seem to miss out too. I get a promotion for eBay bucks and its good for a day or whatever. Everything I want is ending next day. So I buy it and the following day I will get another deal sent to me. I always seem to find the stuff in between.

they must have it set up that way - where you make a purchase and then they try to entice you into making another.

eBay's promo emails have gone deafly silent for months and months until I make a random purchase and suddenly a coupon/promo comes in.
