I’ve seen some CGC graded book eBay listings with “G11 213 cm clean” or similar in the description. What does this mean?

Show a pic as I have no idea what you are referring to but I suspect, as mentioned above, it's a unique code to the seller.

I searched the term and 2 books came back. Not sure what it means either, but I'd guess valiantman is correct in that it doesn't really mean anything to anyone besides the seller?

Edited to add: The 2 books are from different sellers, but both are X-Men #2's. Strange indeed.

That is strange. Different sellers, both an X-Men #2. I'm stumped. (shrug)

My best guess - seller #2 with the low feedback copied the title from higher seller  (comicmylars).  comicmylars uses codes a lot. The titles are the same except for the numerical grade.

X-Men #2 CGC 8.0 1963 1st Vanisher! Wolverine! Key Silver Age! G11 213 cm clean  (this is comicmylars that almost always uses a code - check his other items)

X-Men #2 CGC 7.5 1963 1st Vanisher! Wolverine! Key Silver Age! G11 213 cm clean  (this is kalus2-13 with only one item up)

So it  is a unique code to comicmylars and the other seller copied it and being a copier had no idea what the code meant but decided it had something to do with the comic.

$5 each for solving the mystery, paypal accepted - boat is paid for but I could use some gas money

Interesting. I've seen the random number + "cm" before and always wondered if it was some sort of measurement. ComciMylars has been on the 'bay for as long as I can remember (which is nearly 20 years now) and I know I've seen them use that numerous times. Maybe it was just them using it all this time, but it lead me to believe that there was some desirable trait in the book's measurements that maybe indicated that it wasn't trimmed or had some other monkey-work. Maybe I can finally scratch this off my huge list of things I don't understand but am too afraid to ask!
