How rare are Everett signatures?

Nice examples are few and far between I guess. His signed stuff would have been sketches or specialty pieces. I’m not sure if he signed comic pages . Good question I can’t help much but I’d love to know myself

I haven't seen hardly any Everett signatures outside of on his original art - so I'd say rare

Someone on here has a few Everett signatures on interior comic pages, MARVEL MYSTERY books if memory serves. I can't remember who, but going thru the Timely thread (most recent on backward), you'd bump into them. They're awesome and Id love to have one of them!!!

Yes, I remember seeing that too. It’s his classic “painters pallet and brush” sig!

The top image is from Marvel Mystery 7. The bottom image was an innocent bystander in the thread 🤠

I just quoted the original post and the Target cover got swept up too, BUT …. it IS an Everett cover (signed using his middle name), so I made no effort to censor it out.

There was story I read from a fanzene of a young Everett fan that has some of the best signatures and comic pages signed by Everett years ago. Some of these items are absolute grails as he also has Carl Burgos sign a famous splash page with Everett. 
 

His name was Warren Reece ( bitd surname was Storob )

comics he had signed were

Marvel Comics 1 the 1939 October date edition his was autographed by Everett, Burgos and Fred Schwab

 

Bill Everett also signed Marvel Comics 1 on first page on right hand margin. He followed this by signing the flowing issues 

2,7,8,9,10 Marvel Mystery Comics in first page right margin  of each Submariner story . He also received a sketch that day from Bill of Submariner.

The article is amazing and is found in Alter Ego # 108.

Nice to see my book again Frisco. Here's the cover of my 7 that has the Everett signature. I later learned that my copy belonged to Biljo White who drew Alter Ego covers in the early 60's. He wrote "read" in all his copies. Here's scans of his Marvel 2 to compare.

That's so awesome, thanks for posting these Ameri!!!!   That's so cool that they were his books!!! I have quite a few Silver Age books that have "read" written on the cover. I have often wondered if they were his.

One of my personal favorite Everett Mystery Tales covers. The closeup details on the face and fabrics are intense! Throw in the three little skeleton guys and it’s a winner in my book!

I don't know if it was a coincidence, but I was able to upgrade to this copy about a week after posting my desire to upgrade.  These chat boards are awesome.
