Hi, I am not a professional grader and if anyone wants to chime in, please do! I have books that had arrival date stamps, grease pencils, et that came back in the 8's, but I don't know about a 9.0

It would limit it from attaining the highest grades (meaning 9.6 or 9.8 this defect would be more significant), but in the 8.0-8.5 range that much grease pencil is not a prime determining factor in the overall grade.
