Have time to stop at one comics shop in Portland tomorrow. Anyone recommend one for vintage stuff?

thanks!

“I Like Comics” in Vancouver, Washington is just a few minutes from Portland. Great store and really nice owner.

I remember Excalibur growing up there in the 70s.

I left in ‘85....used to be others like Future Dreams, Serendipity, Apache, Armchair, Powell’s Books. Don’t know if any of them are still around...

All my old haunts from when I was teenager into my early 20s....,

I was just telling crassus the other night about picking up a buttload of NM Thors at Apache in the 140s to the 160s for $2.40 a pop.  Kind of a weird and little bit high price at the time (about 1979/1980?), but I'm glad now that I bought all I could....,

Armchair was great for comics, but it was full of lots of other stuff too.  I remember picking up a lot of 20 cent vintage books there for 20-30 cents...., mostly NM.

Did you ever go to Angie's Magazine Rack?  You had to kind of sift through the porn to get to the comics, which IIRC were in seal-a-meal bags with the price in black marker written across the bag.  I remember picking up quite the "assortment" of comics and magazines there.....,

I remember Angie’s. Stopped buying from them when the ASM Ann 1 I had bought from them had bleed through on the cover from the permanent ink marked shrink wrap, and they wouldn’t refund my $10. Was a vfnm copy without the bleed through ugh
