Hey bud, were you aware JSC charges an additional $30 per signed book that’s going to be graded?

I haven’t bought anything from him in quite a while but I was never aware that was the case, or is this something that is fairly new?

Yup. It's been the case since at least SDCC last year.

Okay, that makes sense. Well the timing of me not knowing anyway. This increasingly common CGC tax is out of control and certainly one bubble I really hope to see pop or corrected in some way in the near future.

The Artgerm Batman #49 is awesome too. That may be something of a sleeper with so much attention on #50.

Both of the Batman 49 covers are great but Artgerm's is really good as is his Catwoman 1 cover.

Is 104 variants a record?

If not what series/issues have had more?

I want to say Batman DC universe rebirth #1 had the most variants....

If I’m not mistaken that one had 29 variants when excluding the couple reprints.

Cool, Thanks! I think I was confused, but the reason I stated it was because when Rebirth came out there were ton's of "rebirth #1's" with tons of variants....

As far as one specific issue having variants, I think your right that Batman 50 has them beat :foryou:

Meaning Batman rebirth #1, Green Lantern rebirth #1 etc all with variants...

I bought the first print Batman/Catwoman Proposal, but I'm not sure I'll go get the wedding, but thanks for the heads up that IS a Lot :)

I’m with you, it’s an awful lot to keep up with. Especially with the reboots by DC and Marvel.

Star Wars #1 Marvel reboot was about the same amount. I can't find the full list though.

Thanks, I’ll look into it. I remember that one had a really large amount as well.

I’m not sure if this article is accurate or not but it claims ASM #666 had 145 variants, 141 of them being shop variants. I don’t pay much attention to Spidey books so I don’t recall when it was released. I’ll mention the article hasn’t been updated since the end of January but I personally haven’t noticed any as much as Batman #50 this year.
